EGMONT – The Royal Institute for International Relations is an independent think-tank based in Brussels. As a platform for in-depth analysis and a forum for debate in the field of international politics, the Institute has the ambition to make a useful contribution to the policy-shaping process through its publications, conferences, seminars and trainings.

The European Affairs Programme of the Egmont Institute is looking for a Trainee to assist in its research activities related to the EU Conference on the Future of Europe, running from the beginning of September 2021 to February 2022.

Responsibilities

Research

  • Participate in the research activities of the EU Affairs Programme on the Conference on the Future of Europe;
  • Draft policy brief for citizens’ agoras and conferences;
  • Support in the design of the methodology applied to the projects.

Logistics tasks

  • Support and assistance in the organization of events (conferences, citizens’ agoras);
  • Liaise with partner organisations and Belgian authorities.
